The Gaslamp Killer brings his heavy monster sound with a crushing EP of B-moving beats and sample archaeology. It was hard not to be impressed by his recent Finders Keepers mix, and we can safely say that if you were taken by it's intuitively ruff cut but studied techniques you'll be all over this one. Tracks range from minute long sketches of rerouted samples as on the two intro tracks, to club cut big beats on 'Anything Worse', I have seen and met him a couple of times at the grandstar jazz club even filmed his sets witch are on youtube and he has always been humble. Please cop his stuff and support this new movement in music....peace
